Spring Summer 2014

Inspiration

For his Spring/Summer 2014 Collection, Harrison Wong looks back for inspiration to the abstract and geometrical art of mid Century America and infuses it with his own signature minimalism.  Earlier works of Josef Albers in particular are key influencers for the pattern and print designs in this Collection. With a look arising from a geometrically constructed cut, line and shape, the apparel comes across like a soft architecture where a playful proportion emerges. The sportwear element and the sleek surface fabric merge to become an integral part of the design imparting a look of elegant yet casual chic.
